We recognise that to you, our customers, food traceability is of the upmost importance. Over the past few years a large portion of the meat consumed by Wayne Hawkins Creative Catering customers is produced on our own farm in Hampshire. We ensure the good welfare of our animals who are nurtured and live in a happy and free range environment providing us with the highest quality of produce.
Our cattle breeds and Dexters and Traditional Hereford, our pigs and Gloucester Old Spots and Large White X and the Lambs are Texel. The Scottish and Angus Beef is supplied to us from Millers at Speyside in Scotland where a member of our staff visited to ensure that the animals welfare and quality of the meat met our exacting standards.
All our Beef if hung for between 21 and 28 days and butchered at our own premises here in Southend by our own master butcher, where we also make our own cured bacon and sausages.
We feel that the farm to fork policy at Wayne Hawkins Creative Catering and the fact that we do not buy any processed meat, insures that you our clients can be confident in the fact that the food you consume has 100% traceability.
